It’s no secret I have issues with food, but I also have some big goals. Today is a new day, the first day of a new year, and I’m home from work – sick. Great! I hate being sick, but it is a double edged sword. On one end it sucks because I would like to start the new year in the gym and cleaning my house, on the other end its a blessing because I really need some R&R and to have the time to prep food and eat as I should without temptation from outside sources.
Today I begin a new way of looking at my diet and training – I’m tired of yo-yo diets, and going through the motions of day to day living. I woke up this morning and decided I would take it one meal at a time, one day at a time, and continue to blog about how it’s going. I’d like to begin to prep for a competition later in the year, but I’d also like to run a spartan race. I completed many of the goals I had in 2014 and I’d like to continue to grow as a person and push myself in 2015.
I have big dreams, and I plan to make those dreams a reality. This year is going to be big, I can feel it!
