In an effort to be completely transparent with both my readers and my challengers – I decided that I would put my entire challenge experience out there. I thought this would be great for other people because they can see that they aren’t alone, and it would be great for me – to keep myself accountable!
This morning I got up and weighed myself. Have I told you that I hate the scale? I usually don’t weigh myself but I knew I needed a way to track my progress that would be measurable. Here’s how I measured up:
I’ll be honest, these numbers didn’t make me happy – I feel like I’ve stepped a few too many steps back, but I have to forgive myself as I have been struggling with my binge eating and hormone imbalance issues and realize that maybe I’m not where I want to be but today I have begun the journey back to where I want to be!
So, day 1 is coming to a close, and although my food timing wasn’t exactly what I wanted it to be, I didn’t eat anything off my plan and I stuck to the meal guide!
For breakfast I had oats with AdvoCare Muscle gain and a half of an apple. Between breakfast and lunch snack was some dates between appointments, lunch was two eggs, rice, and green beans, I had an apple as a snack between meals, and for dinner we went to whole foods where I got a broccoli summer salad with vegan chicken. I was full after dinner so I didn’t feel the need for an after dinner snack.
I also taught Body Pump tonight – I’ll tell you, some classes are better than others – tonight wasn’t the best but it was more than I was planning on doing so…. Not too shabby!
All in all today felt good, I wasn’t too hungry and I didn’t feel the stress of wanting to binge or eat things off my plan….
